Netting Shuttles

These flexible plastic shuttles are used by fishers to make and mend net. The small size (5″) are my favorite shuttle for inlaying pattern weft yarns in the Moorman technique. The medium size (6.5″) hold fabric strips or yarn for pattern inlay. The large size (8″) are useful for holding heavier inlay yarns, ground weft for narrow weavings, or weft for card weaving. If unsure, order some of each size to see which size is most useful for you.
