About

Nadine Sanders Artist Statement

Music and making things go hand-in-hand for me. Even as a child growing up on a farm, I made treasures with my hands and sang in public. Close vocal harmonies like those of my trio, Straw Into Gold, relate to the successful marriage of structure, design and materials that make weavings sing! The rhythms of weaving, quilting, and music-making are the touchstone of my creative energy.
